Planning a Florida wedding? Whether you live in Florida, across the country, or overseas, Married by Mail secures your marriage license for you, without a trip to the clerk’s office.

It takes three steps on your end. We handle the rest.

Step one. Go to MarriedbyMail.com, select Services and Pricing, choose the option based on how soon you’re getting married, and pay online.

Step two. Click Marriage License Form, fill it out, and submit. We send your information to the Lake County Clerk of Court. Once they issue your Application to Marry, we email it to you with step-by-step instructions.

Step three. Follow your emailed instructions to review, print, and complete all required paperwork. Sign your application in front of a notary: either your own, or remotely with us. Then mail the originals to us at the address provided.

Once your paperwork arrives, we hand-deliver it to the clerk to obtain your marriage license, valid throughout Florida. And we make sure your officiant, the person performing your ceremony, has it before your wedding.

After you say “I do,” your officiant completes the license and mails it back to the clerk in the pre-addressed envelope we provide.

Once the clerk records your marriage, we send you an original certified copy of your marriage license.
